What would actual heterodox academia look like? I mean, if it wasn't just an excuse to build Fasc-U? What ideas in our academic culture are actually marginalized without evidence of their badness? Would love to hear ideas from your field of expertise...
@flourn0 In CS (programming language theory), we'd have more programming languages like COBOL.
More specifically, there'd be more focus on human comprehension and thought, rather than the kind of mathematical elegance I like putting in programming languages.
Very narrowly, for example, I could imagine funding for studying the effects of radical autonomy during adolescence.
