@sebastianpado very interesting topic, though soout of my league :) I am a linguist, too but different field: sociolinguistics, computer-mediated communication/Computer-mediated discourse

@meow_factor Sounds cool! I also find myself drawn more and more to looking at social factors in language. I have one or two ongoing projects in this direction but nothing final yet. A very old study we did though is this one.. aclanthology.org/E12-1064.pdf
